CHILDREN KARATE CLASSES

Malvern Martial Arts is dedicated to the highest quality of martial arts training. Our professional trainers are committed to helping you improve and develop your children's skills.

Children's Karate combines fun exercises and drills to help introduce your child to the art of karate. Your child will be in a structured environment and be taught by a head instructor allowing them to receive quality learning from the very beginning.

Children participating in Karate gain physical strength, flexibility, coordination, and agility. They also learn to be confident, disciplined, and respectful. They become part of a team and learn valuable self-defense life skills that can help combat bullying. Karate is both an individual and a team sport that instills a sense of belonging. Children learn how to help support their peers with less experience and also learn from those with more experience. We also offer adult Karate lessons so that you can learn alongside your children!

KARATE PROGRAM:
​
This is truly a fantastic program! Children can start as young as 4 years old!
​
Lil Champs program - Blue uniform – Ages 4 to 6 years old
Warrior program - Black uniform – Ages 7 to 8 years old
Instructor program - white uniform. Ages 9 and over
​
The structure we have develops your Childs skills. The transformation is amazing, you will not regret bringing your child to train at Malverns leading Martial Arts center!

GRADINGS:
Gradings are optional
​
Gradings are every 10 weeks for our Lil Champs and every 3 months for the leadership and instructors program. Children have a grading test to assess their progress. It is a great opportunity for children to measure their achievements.

Children Karate Classes

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday

Each time a child achieves a new level, their self-esteem grows. They begin to realize their potential and become motivated to achieve their next goal. Parents can also help support their child throughout this journey by emphasizing the importance of attending class as well as encouraging their child to participate in karate for the enjoyment of it.

Children's Karate Classes are held:
Monday:
4:30 pm to 5:20 pm (4-7 years)
5:30 pm to 6:30 pm (8-12 years)
Wednesday
4:30 pm to 5:20 pm (4-7 years)
5:30 pm to 6:30 pm (8-12 years)
Saturday
11.00 am to 12.00 pm (4-12 years)

Our Children's Karate Classes will teach your children basic blocking skills, karate walking, controlled offensive techniques, karate-kicking, and punching. Your children will also be able to realize and celebrate their achievements via our grading system with colored belts. For every 5 classes, your child attends, they will earn a tag. Once they earn 10 of these tags (the equivalent of 50 classes), they will then be able to participate in their next grading and earn their next belt level.
